It is a platform for leading industry figures to come together to drive UK manufacturing and for buyers and designers to find textile and garment production in the UK. Target exhibited at the show this year from 24th – 25th May, it took place at the Truman Brewery in the heart of #Shoreditch. Target’s focus at the show was on custom print and how heat transfers can be and are being used in the fashion industry. With manufacturing facilities onsite in their factory in Braintree, Essex, they can create, produce and ship custom transfers in just 2 days to anywhere in the UK. Target can supply all the necessary products to allow the customer to apply the transfers to almost any garment, accessory or textile. They also offer a complete fulfilment service, from conception to completion; everything from art working to application, bagging, tagging, pricing and shipping to multiple locations. With an ever-uncertain economy and with a growing number of fashion retailers and designers wanting to embrace British culture in their designs, having fast production times, keeping costs down and using the ‘Made In Britain’ tagline, it is hoped that this style of exhibition will encourage more people in the industry to buy British products and keep production/manufacture as close to home as possible.
